The best つけ麺(tsukemen) you'll ever have in Tokyo.

Typical easy ordering from a vending machine! The broth is rich and perfectly salty, typical of tsukemen. If the option you order doesn’t come with an egg, I’d recommend ordering one! I like that you can choose the amount of noodles. The place is typically packed but has a quick turnaround time. I walked here from my hotel so I’m not sure about the public transit options to get here. Didn’t see any other tourists but the staff were nice and welcoming. If you’re wearing a white shirt, make sure to ask for a bib!

One of the most famous tsukemen (tsuke means dip, men is noodles) in Tokyo right now. Nice fish broth. There’s another outlet in Tokyo station but the cue is crazy so this one is a lot better, Tokyo sky shuttle bus takes you from Narita to Osaki station for 1200 yen, and it’s like 2 min walk from the bus terminal!!

Don’t want to queue up at Tokyo Ramen Street? Head over here to Ōsaki instead where the restaurant is positively spacious, the crowd more civilized and the tsukemen every bit as good.

The tsukemen here is a masterpiece. -The overall presentation is carefully done and brilliantly executed, noodles are folded over, fish seasoning is placed on top of the seaweed -The soup is hot and hearty, if you get the spicy version you can have unlimited peppers to add. -Make sure to order an egg on the side as the spicy one doesn't have it included, it's soft boiled to perfection -Large amount of chewy and bouncy noodles, I was full without having to order more

Got tsukemen with chilli on the side. It has a cornstarch texture almost so it just coats the tongue and you get this intense anchovy/marmitey hit. Then curryish flavours start coming out of the nose. Then pea sweetness arrives with a slight touch of acidity then garlic lingers. Noodles were not salty which provides great contrast on the palate with the soup. Such a well organised restaurant too. Felt very welcome despite being a lumbering foreigner.

I think they specialise in つけ麺 but I got a normal bowl and it was really great. Deep flavoursome broth. Perfectly cook そば with that touch of bite. Great stuff.

Famous Ramen started in Osaki area in Tokyo. Especially dip type ramen called Tsuke-men. You can select hot or cold noodle for Tsuke-men. Personally hot one is recommended called Astu-mori. Cost is just nice for ramen about 1000JPY. FYI, Osaki station is close to Tokyo station and Shinagawa station. You can take bullet train as soon as you finish the ramen there.
