S	Spencer Buettner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mainly serves miso ramen with a spicy option as well. The miso was delicious. They actually give you the option to eat noodles made in Nagano which is neat. The noodles tasted good. The food is appropriately priced. For one person you’re looking at 800-1150 yen. The location is conveniently placed next to Nagano Station. I would eat here again.
Y	Yan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really tasty miso ramen! Perfect for a cold winter's evening after visiting snow monkeys. The owner can speak English and can give you an English menu, but there's basically only one type of ramen here with variations: Spicy/not spicy miso ramen, with/without chashuu. There's also a tsukemen. The other half of the menu is the same but the noodles are made with a local flour. All the ramen comes with tasty pork mince in the broth, and cooked onions and carrots that you can watch the chef frying up in his huge wok. If you can handle a mild-medium spice, I strongly recommended the spicy miso ramen! The broth is super tasty, with extra depth. The eggs here are only 50 yen, but note they are just normal boiled eggs, not soy marinated eggs. Chashuu was thickly sliced and pretty good, but not as meltingly tender as other places. Seats 11, and there's space inside for 8 people to queue seated. Seems to consistently be a queue of a handful of people, so you won't be waiting too long.

I recommend it to everyone who is visiting Nagano, you won't regret it. It's just across the Nagano station in a little alley! Enjoy!

Without looking at the menu Ordered the spicy miso ( karai miso) which was recommended by a lot of reviews. It was really good. Noticed that majority of locals ordered the miso ramen.
