Then, I just wanna ask Natori city’s Governments to prepare here to advertise what here is for tourists and the citizens of Natori. 緑いっぱいでとても清々しさを感じられます。名取にこんなにも立派な古墳がある事を初めて知りました。とても広大で一面芝生にもなっているところがあるので、自然が好きなご家族、お子さん連れにもおにぎり持参とかで訪れるのも良いかもしれません。ぼーっとしたいとき、ただのお散歩にうってつけだと思います。次はレジャーシート持ってきてゆっくり読書したいなと思いました。テーブルとベンチが一つだけあります。こんなに素敵な場所なのに人も全然いなくて穴場的な場所になってるのもそれはそれで良いのかもですが、せっかくの東北最大級の立派な古墳、自然豊かな土地…名取の魅力をもっと多くの人に知ってもらう為に、もうちょっと宣伝等工夫を凝らしても良いのではとも感じました。 This is actually not so much famous so far though, the Biggest Ancient Tomb “Kofun” in Tohoku. 関	関清志 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2021年12月13日に見学しました。昭和31年に国指定史跡になっています。愛島丘陵の東端にあたり、後円部頂上に登ると太平洋を見渡せます。全長168mもあり、宮城県内では、最大の前方後円墳です。後円部直径96m、高さ12m。前方部長さ72m、幅96m、高さ6m。周堤周溝を備え、葺石や壺形埴輪・底部穿孔壺形土器が出土している三段段築の古墳です。前方後円墳は、大和政権との関係が明確な者の墳墓だと伝えられています。この地方を治めた豪族首長墓だと考えられています。発掘調査から、4世紀後半に築造されたことが分かりました。仙台市内の遠見塚古墳との関連性も囁かれており、更に調査が進むことを楽しみにしています。 We visited on December 13, 2021.
