★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 晴れた日には非常に展望良く、栃本集落を眺める事ができました。一度展望台で一泊して星空を眺めてみたいです。
 On a clear day, the view was very good and I was able to see the village of Tochimoto. I want to stay at the observatory once to see the starry sky.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 南側斜面に展開する森の底を終始横切ってゆく黒岩尾根登山道には珍しく眺めの良いところです。登山道の分岐点からは急登ながらものの５分もかからず辿り着ける岩の小ピークで、好天であれば訪れて損はありません。東側は雁坂峠をまんなかに奥秩父主稜線が手が届きそうなくらいに感じられる眺めが、北側は両神山とその南北に伸びる長大な尾根の眺めが展開します。ここは５～６人も陣取ればいっぱいになってしまう程度の広さですが、このコース人の訪れの少ない閑散と静寂とが売りなので混雑の心配はしなくて大丈夫でしょう。飽きるまでのんびり眺めていってください。
