★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 周濠が途中で分断されているところが珍しい。いろいろな墳丘があるがやはり前方後円墳は美しい。
It is rare that the moat is divided in the middle. There are various burial mounds, but the front and rear burial mounds are still beautiful.

100% obfuscation, Shionjiyama. I have never seen an old burial mound that has been maintained so far. It's a wonderful word.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 整備されていて歩きやすく説明板も適宜配置されている。大きな古墳はもちろん迫力あるが、全体を把握するのにちょうどいい大きさだと思う。
It is well maintained and easy to walk in, and explanation boards are arranged as appropriate. Of course, the large tumulus is powerful, but I think it is just the right size to grasp the whole.

古墳を見ながら名水で淹れた珈琲で朝食。朝ご飯の後は古墳を見学しながら散歩。丁度良い大きさ。

周りには池や芝生もあり散歩コースとしても楽しめる。
下から見上げたり、上から周りを見渡して古代の景色を想像するロマンもあります。
学習館では展示のほか、休みの日には子供向けの体験イベントもいろいろやっています。

後円部は想像してたよりかなり高くて、めちゃ好立地感アリ。

ながーい粘土槨✖︎木棺や有名な導水施設埴輪のセット感が実物大模型やジオラマで見れました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ こじんまりとした良い場所です。ちょっとしたベンチがあります。トイレや自販機もあります。軽い散歩に向いています。現地では、写真のQRコードでこの古墳にまつわる歴史を確認することができます
