★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 瓢箪山稲荷神社の中にあった説明書きに、「社をまつる小丘は、この地一帯にある山畑古墳群の中でも最古最大に属する６世紀末古墳時代後期の双古墳であり、瓢箪山と称する」とある。
要は、瓢箪山稲荷神社は瓢箪山古墳の上に立てられたみたいです。
それから、双古墳は全国でも非常に珍しい古墳なのです。（もったいない）

The point is that Kashiyama Inari Shrine seems to have been erected on Kashiyama burial mound.

樹木を通して墳丘はわずかに見えるが、だれもそれ以上のことは言わない。
たしかに古墳ファンには残念だが、逆に言えば稲荷神社が、ひとの古墳への侵入を阻止している番人のようにも見れる。
Gourd Mountain Inari Shrine is famous, but no one is aware of the old burial mound of Futatsuoka located behind it.
The mounds are barely visible through the trees, but no one says anything more.
It's a pity for tumulus fans, but conversely, Inari Shrine can be seen as a guardian who is blocking the invasion of people into the tumulus.
