老川から麻綿原高原（天拝園：妙法生寺）まで続く秘境林道。本来の道のりは養老渓谷駅から13㌔あまりなのですけど、重複する場所もあり、ホテルもみの木付近からはじまる林道8㌔あまりと考えましょう。起点付近に公衆トイレがあり、女性トイレはウォシュレット付きです。舗装されているものの道幅は狭く街灯はほぼなし。紫陽花の時期は一方通行（6月20日～7月20日：要確認）になり、市原市方面からは侵入できなくなります。また、内浦県民の森の入口は夜間閉鎖されますので、天気と日没を気にしてこの道を利用してください。途中すれ違いは極めて厳しく、崖の尾根道が続きますのでスピードに気を付け大きな車では行かないようにして下さい。民家はほぼなく、補給も不可能。往復16㌔以上のくねくね山道はかなりの難敵です。天拝園は紫陽花で有名ですけど、それ以外の静かな季節・・・空気の澄んだ時期の方が（山蛭が出ないので）良いかもしれません。深い山中に、忽然と大きな寺院が現れる意外性はなかなかのもの。低山ながら高原の名前にふさわしい風が吹きます。２月１６日　ハイキング決行。麻綿原まで行き２時間30分でした。結構手ごわい道のりでした。帰りは諸事情あって小走りで・・・1時間45分。頑張っちゃいました。

An unexplored forest road that runs from Ogawa to the Mamenbara Plateau (Tenpaizan: Myohosei-ji Temple). The original road is about 13 km from Yoro Valley Station, but there are some overlapping places, so let's think of it as a forest road about 8 km starting from the vicinity of the hotel fir tree. There is a public toilet near the starting point, and the women's toilet has a washlet. Although it is paved, the road is narrow and there are almost no street lights. The hydrangea season is one-way (June 20th to July 20th: confirmation required), and it will not be possible to invade from the direction of Ichihara City. In addition, the entrance to Uchiura Citizen's Forest is closed at night, so please be aware of the weather and sunset when using this road. The passing is extremely severe on the way, and the ridge road of the cliff continues, so please be careful about the speed and do not go by a big car. There are almost no private houses, and replenishment is impossible. A winding mountain road with a round trip of 16 km or more is a very difficult enemy. Tenpaizan is famous for hydrangeas, but other quiet seasons ... It may be better when the air is clear (because there are no leeches). It is quite surprising that a large temple suddenly appears in the deep mountains. Although it is a low mountain, the wind that fits the name of the plateau blows. February 16th, hiking.
