★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 滑川温泉手前、姥湯温泉との分岐付近の渡渉点から30分ほどの登りで到着します。滑川大滝の眺めが素晴らしい。春先の雪融け水が豊富な時期は、大滝の更に右手奥上側の崖に、白糸のような幻の滝が出現します。一見の価値ありです。
 You will arrive in front of Namegawa Onsen in about 30 minutes from the crossing point near the branch with Ubayu Onsen. The view of Namekawa Otaki is wonderful. In early spring, when the snow melts abundantly, a phantom waterfall like Shiraito appears on the cliff on the far right side of Otaki. Worth a look.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 河を渡り、登山道を延々と登るとある展望台…というかただの開けた場所です。
頂上で見晴らしは上々。大滝そのものは滝壺方面へもう少し降りた所がより見易いです。
滑川大滝の奥の上方の山にはか細い滝が。こちらが布引の滝でしょうか。
この日は水量乏しいです。水量の多かった前回の訪問時は霧でここからは何も見えなかったので、また雪解けの季節を狙って訪問したいです。
遠目に見ても巨大さが伝わってきます。
さすがに滝直下の圧倒的な迫力には敵いませんが、スケールの違う自然の迫力は十分伝わってきました。疲れも吹き飛ぶ絶景です。

The view at the top is great. Otaki itself is easier to see where it descended a bit towards the waterfall.
A narrow waterfall is in the mountain above the depths of the Shukawa Otaki. Is this the waterfall of Nunobiki?
The amount of water is scarce on this day. At the time of the previous visit where there was a lot of water, it was fog and nothing was visible from here, so I would like to visit again for the thaw season.
Even at a distance, hugeness is transmitted.
It does not rival the overwhelming power immediately below the waterfall, but the power of nature with different scales has been transmitted sufficiently. It is a superb view that blows away fatigue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大滝展望台という名の開けた空き地。
滑川大滝を記す杭があるだけで、後は何も無い。その杭も朽ち果てて、折れて地面に転がっている。
しかし、この場所からの大滝の眺めは素晴らしい。紅葉に染まる山々に囲まれた滝の白い流れが圧倒的な存在感を示している。
この場所からだと、滝をやや見下ろす形となるが、沢へ下りる道をたどって行くと滝が正面から見上げる形へと視点の変化が楽しめる。
ここまで至るルートは滑川温泉福島屋の駐車場から山道を歩いて２０分ほどだ。ただ、現在入口の吊り橋が老朽化で閉鎖されているので、ガンバッて川を徒歩で渡らなければ山道へは行けなくなっている。まあ、苦労した分だけ滝を見たときの感動は格別だ。

From this place, you can look down on the waterfall a little, but if you follow the road down to the river, you can enjoy the change of viewpoint so that the waterfall looks up from the front.
The route to this point is about 20 minutes on foot from the parking lot of Namegawa Onsen Fukushimaya. However, the suspension bridge at the entrance is currently closed due to aging, so you can't go to the mountain road unless you cross the river on foot. Well, the excitement of seeing the waterfall as much as I had a hard time is exceptional.
