現在は福昌寺になっており、遺構は残っていません。
 The age of the castle is unknown, but it is said that it was built in the early Eisho period.
It is now Fukusho-ji Temple, and there are no remains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大野木城は、永正年間(1504年〜1521年)に塙右近によって築かれたと言われる。塙右近の子が信長に仕えて原田備中守直政と称した塙直政である。直政は1576年(天正4年)石山本願寺攻めを命ぜられ、荒木村重、長岡藤孝、明智光秀とともに本願寺攻めの主力として参加している。三好康長を先鋒として三津寺を攻撃したが、本願寺方の反撃に遭い、原田直政も混乱のなか討死した。この戦いで塙小七郎(直政弟)、塙安弘(直政叔父)も討死している。遺構はまったく無く、現在は寶淋山福昌寺になっています。
Onogi Castle is said to have been built by Ukon Makoto during the Eisho era (1504-1521). Harada Naomasa, who was called Harada Naomasa by Harada Naomasa, served Nobunaga by the child of Harada Naomasa. Naomasa was ordered to attack Ishiyama Hongan-ji Temple in 1576 (Tensho 4), and has participated as the main force in attacking Hongan-ji Temple with Araki Murashige, Nagaoka Fujitaka, and Akechi Mitsuhide. He attacked Mitsutera with Yasunaga Miyoshi as the forerunner, but Naomasa Harada was killed in the turmoil due to the counterattack of Honganji. Koshiro Haga (younger brother Naomasa) and Yasuhiro Haga (uncle Naomasa) have also been killed in this battle. There are no remains, and it is now the Fukushoji Temple.
