If you go north from this station, you need to be careful as the number of trains is only two per hour. In addition, the new rapid train heading toward Tsuruga stops at each station from this station.
Y	Yoshi ken on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 終着駅になる事もある[近江舞子]駅。の割りには人少ないです。乗り継ぎに結構時間が掛かるので退屈ですが琵琶湖を眺めて過ごすなど景色は良いです。売店があってもいい程の駅の規模ですが人がいないので仕方なし...。よって四つ星です。 [Omi Maiko] station which may be the terminal station. There are not many people for this. It takes a lot of time to transfer, so it's boring, but the scenery is good such as spending time looking at Lake Biwa. The scale of the station is large enough to have a stand, but there are no people so it can't be helped. Therefore it is four stars.
ヨ	ヨッパのホッシー on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ JR西日本湖西線の駅。ホームから琵琶湖が見える。駅前にはロータリーがあるがタクシーは停まっていない。コンビニといった商業施設もなく、とても静かな駅。路線バスは月・水・金曜日に１日５本程度運行されるデマンドバスが発着する。 JR West Kosei Line station. Lake Biwa can be seen from the platform. There is a roundabout in front of the station, but taxis do not stop. A very quiet station with no commercial facilities such as convenience stores. Demand buses, which operate about 5 buses a day, arrive and depart on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Many trains are also in operation, including the first train bound for Kyoto and the last train at Omi Maiko Station. Station names like women's names.
