★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst service ever, ridiculous prices. I've never been treated this way in Japan before. Food was bad and waiters were rude. An absolute scam of a restaurant, money can be better spent in other places. These people are racist. Do not come to this place if you are a foreigner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We loved this place. The food was delicious you must try this place while visiting Kyoto. Ordered two main dishes one the tempura dish and second the udon noodle in soup with yuba. Both delicious.

It’s a bit on the pricey side at more than ¥2,000 per person for a lunch set but the food is great quality and the atmosphere is cozy and serene.
