地蔵尊には覆いの屋根が施されいつも供養の花が添えられて地元の方々に供養されています。
中心には子供抱いた慈母地蔵尊には帽子と前掛けが添えられ信仰の厚さが感じられて鎮座しています。
昭和17年、多賀城海軍工廠の建設に伴って移転した沖区の地蔵尊3体が祀られているそうです。
沖区にあったことから沖地蔵と呼ばれるそうです。
