★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 素朴な入母屋造の重要文化財。平安時代創建と伝わっているが江戸時代に大幅修理されて今に至る。撮影禁止である堂内は船底天井になっており、本尊両脇に坐する菩薩は大和坐りをされている。本尊である木造阿弥陀如来及両脇侍坐像は国宝指定。
An important cultural property with a simple rustic structure. It is said that it was founded in the Heian period, but it has been extensively repaired during the Edo period. The inside of the hall, where photography is prohibited, is the bottom of the ship, and the bodhisattva sitting on both sides of the main body is sitting in Yamato. The main statue, the wooden Amitabha Nyorai and Samurai sitting on both sides, is a national treasure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 京都大原三千院にあるお堂です。三千院往生極楽院には阿弥陀如来座像があり、見事です。また三千院往生極楽院の周りの緑色の苔も素晴らしいです。
This is a temple in Kyoto Ohara Sanzen-in. There is a statue of Amida Nyorai at Sansenin Gosho Paradise. The green moss around the Sanzen-inn Saigo Paradise is also wonderful.

大きな阿弥陀如来三尊像を納める為に、天井が船底型に工夫されています。
『 阿弥陀三尊像（国宝）』平安時代後期。
中央に阿弥陀如来。
向かって右側が観音菩薩、左側が勢至菩薩で少し前かがみに正座（大和座り）をしていらっしゃいます。
大和座りは、珍しい座り方で興味深いです。

The ceiling has been devised to be a ship bottom type to accommodate the large Amida Nyorai Sanson statue.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 三千院の往生極楽院は、久安4年(1148)高松中納言実衡の妻真如房尼が、亡き夫の菩提を弔うために建立したということで、常行三昧堂といわれていたそうです。内部中央の天井は山形に板を貼った船底天井で全面に肉眼では判別できないが飛天や菩薩が描かれているそうです。
It is said that Sanzen-in's Ojo Gokurakuin was built in 1148 by Takamatsu Chunagon Jitsuhei's wife, Shinyobo-nun, to mourn the bodhi of her late husband. The ceiling in the center of the interior is a mountain-shaped board on the bottom of the ship, and although it cannot be discerned with the naked eye, it seems that flying heavens and bodhisattvas are drawn on the entire surface.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ どこもが美しい三千院の中で、最も美しいのがここでしょう。木漏れ日の中、苔むした庭園に囲まれ小さなお堂があります。中には阿弥陀三尊像がまつられています。阿弥陀様の天井には極楽浄土が描かれているが、黒ずんでおり、別に展示されている復元画を見ないと詳細は見えません。阿弥陀様の左脇侍（向かって右）の観音菩薩は往生者を蓮台に乗せる姿で、右脇侍（向かって左）の勢至菩薩は合掌し、少し前屈みに跪く「大和坐り」の姿が珍しいものです。この周りを囲む池泉回遊式庭園が本当に素晴らしい。ぜひお堂に上がってお参りして下さい。
Here is the most beautiful of all the beautiful Sanzen-in temples. During the sunshine, there is a small hall surrounded by mossy gardens. Inside there is a statue of Amida triad. The paradise of the paradise is painted on the ceiling of Amida-sama, but it is dark and the details cannot be seen without looking at the reconstructed paintings separately exhibited. Amitabha's Kannon Bodhisattva of the left side samurai (right) faces the rescuer on a lotus stand, and the right side samurai (left side) of Seshi Bodhisattva crosses her palms and “Yamato sitting” kneeling slightly forward. It is unusual. The surrounding pond spring garden is really wonderful. Please come to the hall and visit.
