★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 長野県考古学会遺跡番号4692です。今は、付近一帯はキレイにほ場整備された田園内にあります。目視により円形の古墳です。長野県史によると横穴式石室を有する円墳です。立地場所は山麓とあります。また、過去には1号墳と呼ばれ俗称は伏塚と呼ばれていたそうです。さらに2号墳、3号墳と呼ばれる古墳もあるそうですが、今日は存在がわかりませんでした。記録によると、円墳で直径11.0m高さ3.4mの規模と記述があります。横穴式石室の規模は長さ6.8m、幅1.8m、高さ1.9mです。
参考までに2号墳は住所番地は同所3662で円墳。規模は直径4m高さ1m。立地場所は山麓。3号墳は規模は不明で円墳。立地場所は山腹。住所番地は同所3429です。ただ出土品の記述があります。直刀2振、瑪瑙勾玉、須恵器とありました。番地表記しました。どなたか探してポイント落としてください。よろしくお願いいたします。
