★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 評価が高い理由は、滝の水量ではなく滝を流れる岩の大きさです。
私は素直にでかい！と感動しました。
おそらく、一枚岩で形成されてると思いますが、違ってたらごめんなさい。
岩舟公園か、近くに神社がありそこに車を駐車できます。
そこから、歩いて5分で到着です。
なので、熊が出没する可能性は皆無です。

「岩舟の滝迄13キロ」の看板を見て
カーナビが無い車で迷いながら行きました
岩舟公園の奥にこの滝はあるのですが
さほど深い森の中でも無いのに
辺りは薄暗く不気味な雰囲気でした
滝の前には修験者の為の物なのかお堂があります
また滝壺にある岩の形が舟の形に似ているて
この名前がついたのですが滝行の為の
プラットフォームが設置されています
滝自体は私が行った季節がまだ北の斜面には
雪が残っている時期でしたので
ビックリするくらい水が少なかったです
滝と言うかシズクといった感じです
その為に写真には濡れている岩しか
写りませんでした

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ キャンプ場の駐車場から、徒歩で5分ほどでした。
曲がり道から現れた、岩と滝に圧倒されます。
隠れたパワースポットだと思いました。

しかし道幅がかなり狭く落ち葉や落石などで道は荒れているので注意が必要です。
自分が到着する前に逃げたので見ていませんが登り切った広場に猪もいたらしいので動物にも用心して下さい?
滝自体は水量も少なくそれほどでは無いのですが一枚岩？が目に入った時に「でけえ」と声が出るくらいにはインパクトがあるので観に行く価値はあると思います?
