み	みけねこ on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 御祭神は大巳貴命（大国主命）。常陸国風土記に「郡の東に国つ神あり。此を県(あがた)の祇(かみ)と号く」とあり、郡家（行方郡の役所）の近くに鎮座し、貞観16（874）年に従五位に叙されている。國神とは国都神（国津神）であり，大国主命でありますね。式内社でこそありませんが，堂々たる式外社です。考えてみれば，延喜式神名帳（927年成立）よりも常陸国風土記の成立は養老5（721）年と古いですもの。狭い道路からさらに狭い径へ回り込むように入った先，小さいながらも巨木の鎮守の森に囲まれた息を呑むほどに美しき御神域がここにありました。門と瑞垣の中の御本殿も珍しい造営ですが，新しい・・・。長の年月，郡家も廃れ，栄枯盛衰を繰り返し，氏子も減って荒廃していた社を平成19年に大整備されたそうです。 The god of ritual is Takamitsu Omi (the chief of the great power).
