★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was an amazing ryokan experience. The service was top notch and the food is something you can never experience in most japanese restaurants. The outdoor onsen was amazing as well. Highly recommended to stay here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Superb private outdoor onsen at the top of ryokan. You need to walk upstairs about 7min and please bring the soap and shampoo with you as there is no soap up there. There is also a private bath underground. I haven’t tried but it looks very interesting.
Dinner and Breakfast were awesome. They served local food such as local vegetables and fish from the nearby waterfall.
Room rate is quite expensive but worth to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hard to make reservations in winter, but after arrive Ginzan Onsen and live in Notoya Ryokan, you'll know why it's so popular. It's one of the must visit attraction in Japan.
