★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 赤い色をしているので別名「赤門」と呼ばれています。神門の近くには振武殿(弓道場)や大宮遺跡があります。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 北神門は大宮八幡宮の北参道に建てられた門で、赤塗りの立派な門です。
神社の境内の入り口には鳥居があることが普通ですが、鳥居はありませんでした。
北神門のそばには大正8年に建てられた大宮八幡神社沿革碑があり、漢文で書かれています。
その和訳が看板として建てられており、その碑文は徳川家達（第十六代当主）によるものだそうです。
Kitakamimon is a gate built on the Kita-Sando of Omiya Hachimangu Shrine, and it is a fine gate painted in red.
There is usually a torii at the entrance to the shrine precincts, but there was no torii.
Beside Kitakamimon is the Omiya Hachiman Shrine historical monument built in Taisho 8 and written in Chinese.
The Japanese translation is built as a signboard, and the inscription is from the Tokugawa family (the 16th head).
