★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 令和1.5.26 併設の林の中の古民家で琵琶と講談の会が開かれた、琵琶は初めて聴いたが謙信対信玄の｢川中島」に哀切の｢十三夜」は聴衆を魅了した。普段見られないこんな企画が嬉しく隣町から参加させて頂いた。

宮代町の歴史をＨＰで前以て見ていたので展示資料はその確認のようになってしまい、正直目新しさは無かった。ただ航空写真の大きなパネルが案外面白かった。ちなみに小山氏の歴史に興味があってやってきました。

Since I had seen the history of Miyashiro Town on the website in advance, the exhibition materials became like confirmation, and honestly there was no novelty. However, the large panel of aerial photographs was unexpectedly interesting. By the way, I've been interested in Mr. Koyama's history.

資料館も貴重な展示物があり縄文時代の展示が多く感じられました。

正直、個人的には埼玉県でもかなり地味に部類に入ると考えていた宮代町。特急も停まる大ターミナル駅の東武動物公園駅を含め、町内に3つも東京に直結する東武伊勢崎線の駅がありながら、春日部のようにベッドタウンになりきれない。かといって岩槻のような歴史を感じず、そんな無個性な町のイメージでした。
しかしここを訪れて、そんな考えをしていたことに猛省です！
宮代では多数の古墳が出土されたり、鎌倉時代の荘園となっていたり、江戸時代は笠原沼を埋め立てたり。
特に笠原沼の干拓は、あの井沢為永が手掛けたそうです。井沢為永といえば、伊奈氏の作った見沼溜井や鴻沼を次々と埋め立てて見沼用水路を作った、いわば伊奈一族の天敵！（いえ、私が勝手にそう思い込んでいるだけです）。
その干拓のプロが手掛けた仕事だけあって、縦横に巡らせた落（排水路）や堤など、パワーワードがそこかしこにあるようです。
ちなみに干拓された笠原沼は、今は東武動物公園となってます。

To be honest, Miyashiro Town, which I personally thought was fairly modest in Saitama Prefecture. Even though there are three stations on the Tobu Isesaki Line that are directly connected to Tokyo, including Tobu Animal Park Station, which is a large terminal station where limited express trains also stop, it cannot be a commuter town like Kasukabe. However, I didn't feel the history of Iwatsuki, and it was an image of such a unique town.
However, I regret that I visited here and had such an idea!
Many ancient burial mounds were excavated in Miyashiro, it became a mansion in the Kamakura period, and Kasahara swamp was reclaimed in the Edo period.
In particular, the reclamation of Kasahara Marsh was done by Tamenaga Izawa. Speaking of Tamenaga Izawa, the natural enemy of the Ina clan, who created the Minuma irrigation canal by reclaiming the Minuma Tamei and Konuma made by Mr. Ina one after another! (No, I just think so).
There seems to be power words here and there, such as vertical and horizontal drops (drainage channels) and banks, because there is only work done by the reclamation professional.
By the way, the reclaimed Kasahara Marsh is now Tobu Zoo.
