S	Shinichi Sakamoto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 日本一の”石油温泉”と聞いて訪れました。建物が古く、大広間はめちゃくちゃ時代を感じてしまいました。このレトロな雰囲気は最高です。浴室棟は、これに比べるとずっと”新しい”です。（それでも古いですが・・・・）ガラス張りの入口の割に、いまなら３人も入ればいっぱいと行った小さな湯船です。脱衣場は思ったよりも石油臭はしません。でも扉を開けたら、鼻につく匂いです。お湯は透明でした。とても良いお湯です。残念ながら、日本一の称号は、北海道の豊富温泉の方が更に強烈なので、ワタシ的には第２位の温泉となりました。豊富が原油だとすれば、新津は精製された石油と行った感じで少し上品なお湯です。よく温まったお湯で、最高でした。 I visited after hearing that it was the best "oil hot spring" in Japan. m	mitu XR400R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 油香る新潟市は新津の名湯。念願叶い入湯する事ができました。ナトリウムー塩化物・炭酸水素塩泉でpH値7.6の弱アルカリ高張性の温泉を源泉掛け流しで提供してくれています。温泉ブログやマニアックな温泉を取り上げたガイドブックなどでは有名ですね。噂通りの隠れた名湯でした。もっと油臭が強いかと思っていましたが、私にはエンジンなどを頻繁に分解する工場内程度に感じましたが、苦手な人はだめでしょうかね。気さくなお母さんが話しかけてくれましたが、間欠泉噴出が今日にも始まるかも？と聞き、そのまま噴出を待って滞在したかったくらいです。微かな白濁りで口に含むと塩分と共に複雑な味が口に広がり、鼻から抜けた感覚は、ラッカーシンナーを含む接着剤のような感じもありました。７名ほど地元の方が先に入っていらっしゃいましたが、地元の方の憩いの湯って感じでしたね。なめらかな湯感で浴後はしばらく汗が引かず、夜に別の湯に入っても手の平からは、この湯の香りがしていてとてもいい思い出になりました。 The oily Niigata city is a famous hot spring in Niitsu.
