Menu is kind of limited: a couple soba dishes, a few fried dishes like katsu, plus light side dishes. I settled with the duck soba because I didn't want anything deep fried. It was delicious and satisfying. The soba was fresh and clearly hand made, and the duck was almost beef-like. My only complaint was perhaps the service was not very warm.

Everything was perfectly presented and the fit out is warm and welcoming. Friendly staff have little English but explain the dishes as best they can. Real wasabi is always a good sign! Recommended if you enjoy good Japanese cuisine.
K	Katie Chuang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down best meal I've had in Hakuba. The restaurant is cosy with around 14 seats but it feels spacious and comfortable. The decor is in the nordic pinewood style and light jazz music plays in the background - the atmosphere is quite sophisticated. We ordered the Tonkatsu set which came with dainty appetisers, rice, soup and pickles. Everything was cooked to perfection. We loved it!
