それでもフリーに入れる駐車場なので重宝します。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 南北に長くてとても広い松川（最上川の源流の１つ）沿いの公園です。出入り自由で無料です（笑）。公園の北、中、南の3箇所に駐車場があり車でのアクセスがおすすめです。
公園といっても遊具はほとんどなく、アクティブ児童には物足りないかもしれません。
一方、高校生以上の大人には、素晴らしい公園だと私は思います。散歩したり、ベンチでゆっくり考え事をしたりするにはぴったりな場所です。
市民でも知る人ぞ知る場所であるため年間を通じて空いています。
春、雪解けと共に開園します。桜の木が多く植樹されゴールデンウィークは満開を迎えます。お客さんも少ないため、お花見し放題。毎年家族でお弁当を持っていきますが、素晴らしい桜を貸し切りで眺める事ができます。
夏は、朝晩散歩に適しています。川沿いのためか風が吹いて比較的涼しいですし、しっかり手入れされた芝生が広がりより涼しく感じます。ランニングにもいいです。
秋は、芋煮会で賑わいます。1年で一番多くの市民が利用するのではないでしょうか。ワイワイ楽しくしている姿を見るのも楽しいですね。
冬は、降雪と共に閉園となります。
なんにもない、それがいいんじゃない。と、みうらじゅんさんに同調できる方には特におススメします。時間に余裕ある時是非一度足を運んでみてください。
It is a park along the Matsukawa (one of the headwaters of the Mogami River) that is long and wide from north to south. Free entry and exit (laughs). There are three parking lots in the north, middle, and south of the park, and access by car is recommended.
There are few playground equipment in the park, and it may not be enough for active children.
On the other hand, I think it is a wonderful park for adults over high school. It's the perfect place to take a walk or think slowly on a bench.
Because it is a place that even citizens know, it is vacant throughout the year.
Open in spring, when the snow melts. Many cherry trees are planted and Golden Week is in full bloom. Because there are few customers, you can enjoy cherry blossoms as much as you want. I bring lunch with my family every year, but I can admire the wonderful cherry blossoms.
In summer, it is suitable for morning and evening walks. It is relatively cool because of the wind along the river, and the well-maintained lawn spreads and feels cooler. It is good for running.
In autumn, it is crowded with simmering parties. It may be used by the most citizens in a year. It ’s also fun to see what ’s fun.
In winter, it closes with snowfall.
Nothing, that's not good. This is especially recommended for those who can tune in with Jun Miura. Please come and visit when you have time.

今年は桜の開花が早かったんですけど、ここは対岸にまだ咲いていたので、例年ならGW期間中に桜を眺めながらバーベキューとか良さそうですね。
ただしトイレ、テメーはダメだ

公園は、とても居心地が良いです❗地元の方々に愛され、テント張ったり楽しんでます。

The park is very cozy ❗ Loved by locals, we enjoy tents and enjoy.

悪臭は最近どうなんでしょうね。
私が行ったときは全然臭いませんでした。
ゆったり散歩に良いですね。
The solar facility in the back is intentionally piled up with stone walls, which is an obstacle.
What about the stench these days?
It didn't smell at all when I went.

徳川家康により、藩主上杉景勝が会津120万石から米沢30万石に減封.移封された時、召し抱えていた多過ぎる家臣のため、食料を増やす治水事業や水田開発に力を注いだそうです。
2人の子を亡くし子孫は絶えたが、米沢城下を整備し、全人生を米沢藩に捧げた兼続の心意気がこの石堤に残る。
芋煮会やキャンプを楽しむ人々を、今も石堤から穏やかに見守っているのでしょうか?
