★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 雁峰城(ガンポウジョウ)阯 築城年代は定かではないですが、 文明１６年(１４８４年)村上義清が佐久へ侵攻して岩村田大井氏を降して家臣小田切駿河守幸長を城主として守備させたとの事。
小田切氏が村上氏に従って北信濃へ去った後は草間備前守が城主となり、武田氏の佐久侵攻に降ったそうです。
城は陽雲寺の南の山にあり、北へ突き出した尾根の先端頂部に築かれています。
主郭は山頂にあって南北に長く、南東隅部に土塁が残る。主郭の南に二の丸があり、南へ続く尾根に堀切が残る。主郭から北へ伸びた尾根先に三の丸（跡）があります。
県道１２１号線切原小入口交差点を南へ曲って陽雲寺を目指す。寺の南側に山へ通じる大手道があるそうです。

The castle is located on the southern mountain of Younji Temple and is built on the top of the tip of a ridge that protrudes north.
The main enclosure is on the top of the mountain and is long from north to south, with earthworks remaining in the southeast corner. There is Ninomaru to the south of the main enclosure, and Horikiri remains on the ridge leading to the south. There is a Sannomaru (trace) at the tip of the ridge that extends north from the main enclosure.
Turn south at the Kirihara small entrance intersection on Prefectural Road 121 and head toward Younji Temple. There is a major road leading to the mountain on the south side of the temple.
