Yamashiro is designated as a Matsumoto City Special Historic Site. The remains of the main fortress, including several fortresses, earthworks, and Horikiri, are clearly visible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 波田にありますが、波多＋山＝波多山城となります。井戸跡があります。立木により展望は見込めません。木製の階段になっているので登りやすいです。
It is in Hata, but it is Hata + mountain = Hatayama Castle. There are well traces. The prospect is not expected due to the standing trees. It is easy to climb because it is a wooden staircase.

麓の田村堂に駐車場とトイレがあった。
林道があって(狭いけど)車でも途中まで登れる。
縄張図付きの案内板があった。
遺構は堀切、竪堀、土塁、馬出、井戸、数多くの段々曲輪など規模の大きな山城でみどころいっぱ～い♪(^o^)/
なのに11月は止め山の貼り紙..(/´△`＼)
遊歩道から出ない方が良さげ..
隣の若澤廃寺跡は無料パンフありの石垣跡♪なども見所で暗くなってしまった。
