N	Nathan Gildart on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I can only rate the concert hall but it's a good one. Not so sophisticated and a bit old, but the front side sections of seats are angled to the stage - something you don't often see.
J	Jay TMG on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ideal location in my opinion. It's right across the street from Nakano train station. But you don't hear the trains or traffic at all. Nokano itself has lots to see and do. Nice, interesting shops. Even better, Nakano borders Koenji - one of our favorite areas. Also, Shinjuku is only 2-3 stops away. The hotel itself is a little odd in a couple ways. It is the top 4 floors of a 20-story tower and requires two elevators to get to your room. Not a big deal. Just pointing out that the building isn't a dedicated hotel. The rooms themselves are the size we expect in Tokyo. But they're efficient and have good amenities like coffee/tea and a hot water pot, hair dryer, toiletries, robes, etc. Clean and well maintained room. Very efficient and helpful staff. I'd say it was an excellent value for the price. Our room was about $128/night including tax.
V	Voon SzeSian (Samantha) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located really near to the station, you just have to cross the stress after you exit the station. You will be able to spot it really quickly once you exit the station. There are many places to shop and eat around the area with some eateries opening till quite late. The hotel room itself might be a little small (it might just be because Japanese hotel rooms are quite small in general) but it's still really nice. The room walls are quite thick as well. Staffs are also able to understand and speak basic English, which is really useful since I can't really speak Japanese that well. I would highly recommend this place if you are thinking of attending a concert there at the Sun Plaza as well, as the concert hall is literally just below it. That way you don't have to travel down to the hotel early in the morning to queue for your concert. As the Japanese usually start queuing for them quite early in the morning with a queue already forming around 11am. You would also not have to worry about your concert ending late and missing the last train back which is really quite nice.

Very friendly service, speaks fair English and was willing to call a local restaurant for us to make reservations. Only thing to note is that the check in is on the 16th floor. Highly recommend.

Enjoy this landmark while you can - I believe it is slated to be demolished soon. Many famous concerts were held in the concert hall under the hotel, and often when there is a rock album titled "Live in Japan" or "The Tokyo Tapes" it was performed here.
S	Setivan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location This hotel is across the road from Nakano station. The best entrance is on the right side when facing the hotel. If you go in the main entrance, the lifts are at the back of the building to the left of the big flight of stairs. Rooms are good size, very comfortable beds, breakfast standard Japanese, western mix. Easy to buy reasonably priced food just across the road along the arcade, or good old 7/11.

Very nice, divided into western food left side and Japanese food right side, delicious and by far not as crowded as the area north of Nakano station during lunch time. Worth also mentioning the large parking place in an otherwise very crowded area.
