★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since I was staying nearby in the Hyatt Regency Osaka, I stumbled across this tonkatsu restaurant which is in the Cosmo Tower. The nice thing about this tower is that there is a covered walkway from the Hyatt that connects these two towers. I would often grab my first meal of the day before heading off for sightseeing before leaving the vicinity.
The tonkatsu was delicious and the provided sauces were fantastic. I also liked that you could grab additional rice, pickles, miso soup and grated cabbage as part of your meal. The prices here are also affordable for the amount of food that you receive. The convenient part of this restaurant is that there is a convenience store next door, so you could do some shopping before or after heading back to the hotel.
