★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small resort with beautiful views of lake and mountain range. Romance Chairlift is painfully slow but the rest are fast and with leg rest. There are one gondola and 3 chairlifts in operation. Sugi has lots of ski in ski out accommodations, however most are Japanese ryokans and pensions, with a couple of Australian/international lodging options. At night there are hardly or no restaurants opened so make sure you get dinner sorted out by either cooking or driving to nearby resorts for dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great resort high speed gondola and chair lifts. Wide open very long runs, 1000m vertical but just the top lifts have a decent pitch. Good places to eat. Most importantly lots of areas in the trees you are allowed to go in to enjoy the JPOW

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy Long cruisy groomed runs. Was a really relaxing ride. Went on a good day. Snow was powdery even into late afternoon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good runs for all ski or board abilities, great views of surrounding mountains/Mt Fuji on a clear day. The park is one of the best in the area despite a few kooky features. Lifts are all quick with a good gondola taking you 3km up mountain. Restaurant options are good but not many vegetarian options available. The 8.5km run is great fun and will burn the legs of all skiing or boarding abilities
