About Myōen-ji Temple (Matsugasaki-Daikokuten)
100 days of Daiaragyodou (the training and place of training for the Nichiren sect) is counted as one of the Sekai-san Daiaragyo (a series of particularly tough and painful training practices). 創建元和２年（１６１６） 本涌寺（松ヶ崎檀材︰現在の湧泉寺）内に建てられた。
開祖・日英の隠居所に始まると伝わる。
ご本尊の大黒天像は伝教大師作と伝わり、日蓮聖人が開眼したと言われている。
京都の表鬼門（東北）に位置することから、開運招福の福神とされています。
お盆の送り火の「法」の字が灯る山の麓にあります。

It was built in the 2nd year of Genna (1616) in Honyuji Temple (Matsugasaki Danshi: the current spring temple).
It is said that it starts at the retreat of the founder, Japanese and English.
The statue of Daikokuten, the principal idol, is said to have been created by a master priest, and is said to have been opened by Nichiren Saint.
Since it is located in Kyoto's Omotemon (Tohoku), it is considered to be the god of good luck.
It is located at the foot of the mountain where the character "law" of the Obon festival fire is lit.
