現在の城跡は「いこいの森伊木の森」として遊歩道が整備され展望台などがあり、中腹から登山口があり城跡の案内板が設置されています。
伊木山は木曽川に面しており、東向き対岸に犬山城が見えるほど戦国時代は要所となっていました。
城主だった伊木忠次は織田信長の美濃攻めで功を上げ池田恒興に仕え家臣となったそうです。

Igisan Castle Ruins
The current castle ruins are "Ikoi no Mori Iki no Mori" with a promenade, an observatory, etc., a mountain climbing entrance from the middle, and a guide board for the castle ruins.
Igisan faces the Kiso River, and was a key point during the Warring States period so that Inuyama Castle could be seen on the opposite bank facing east.
It is said that Tadashi Iki, who was the lord of the castle, was successful in attacking Mino by Nobunaga Oda and became a vassal to serve Tsuneoki Ikeda.

公園といっても、駐車場から山頂まで一気に登るのは結構キツいものがあります。
山頂(展望台)には電波塔みたいなものが建っていて、そこが本曲輪かと。
川の運輸を仕切っていた伊木氏の居城と言われています。
The entire mountain has become Shiroyama Park.
Even though it is a park, it is quite difficult to climb from the parking lot to the summit at once.
There is something like a radio tower on the summit (observatory), and that is the main Kuruwa.
It is said to be the residence of Mr. Iki, who was in charge of transporting the river.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 遊歩道が整備されている城跡の公園。標高は高くないが、坂はそれなりに急。城跡としての遺構はほとんどない。（石垣跡が見つかっているそうだが、素人目にはわからない）

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 冬期は、閉園になってます!山道は、入れます!伊木山山頂に登りました!心臓破りの山道はキツかったです!駐車場近くに展望台があります!ここから犬山城も眺めます!今は紅葉が綺麗でした!
In winter, the park is closed! The mountain road is entered! I climbed the top of Mt. Iki! The heartbreaking mountain road was hard! There is an observatory near the parking lot! From here you can also see Inuyama Castle! The autumn leaves were beautiful now!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 15分位で登れる山頂からは南に小牧山その向こうに名駅のビル群が見えます。
冬の時期は登山道に落ち葉が多く滑りやすいようです。
