★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 南側(静岡側)から登っていくと、googleマップだと右側にあるように見えるが、実際は駐車場も登山口も左側にある。登山口は駐車場のさらに北側。
駐車場は単なる広場でトイレはないので、林道に入る手前の温泉のあたりの駐車場のを使うか、安倍川沿いの道にいくつもあるオクシズの駅を活用するのが良い。林道入る前も一台分しか通れないような車幅の道が何度も続くので結構気が抜けない。
登山口よりさらに山梨側に行くと、右側に安倍峠旧歩道入り口、というのがあり、旧安倍峠へ向かうコースがある。川を高巻いていったり徒渉したりなので整備された道ではないが、安倍川の水源(のひとつ)がその先にはあり、その後広々とした散策コースを経て旧安倍峠へとつながる(自分は八紘嶺の後に逆コースで戻った)。
As you climb from the south side (Shizuoka side), the google map appears to be on the right side, but in reality the parking lot and the trailhead are on the left side. The trailhead is further north of the parking lot.
Since the parking lot is just a plaza and does not have a toilet, it is better to use the parking lot around the hot spring before entering the forest road, or use the Oxis station on the road along the Abe River. Even before entering the forest road, the road with a width that can pass only one car continues many times, so you can't get out of it.
If you go further to the Yamanashi side from the starting point, you will find the entrance to the old sidewalk on the right side. Although it is not a well-developed road because it is going up and down the river, there is one source of the Abe River, and after that it leads to the former Abe Pass through a spacious walking course. Was back on the reverse course after Yahata).
