★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大町市美麻（旧美麻村）、二重地籍にある水上神社は、言い伝えによると、708年（和銅元年）の創建だそうです、実際の創建年代は不明です。
古くは八王子大明神という社号で、旧二重村の産土神、鎮守だそうです。本殿には1719年（享保４年）の棟札（片桐利七）の改築建立だとか。社殿の彫刻がみごとです。
９月の例祭では、裃をまとって帯刀する総代が先導する旗行列と神輿の巡行が見られます。境内の大杉は、樹齢はおよそ890年で、幹周りは８メートル近くあります。鬱蒼たる杉（一部サワラ）の森は深く、境内一面苔に覆われています。
According to legend, Mizukami Shrine, located in Miasa, Omachi City (formerly Miasa Village), was built in 708 (the first year of Wado), and the actual date of its construction is unknown.
In the olden days, the company name was Hachioji Daimeijin, and it is said that it is a god of origin and guardian of the former double village. It is said that the main shrine was rebuilt in 1719 (Kyoho 4th year) with a building tag (Rishichi Katagiri). The sculpture of the shrine is wonderful.
At the annual festival in September, you can see the flag procession and the mikoshi parade led by the president who wears a kamishimo and wears a sword. Osugi in the precincts is about 890 years old and has a trunk circumference of nearly 8 meters. The dense forest of cedar (partly Spanish mackerel) is deep and covered with moss all over the precincts.
