★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 鎌倉～室町時代の宝塔十数基が、赤城神社境内の覆屋の中に保存されている。輪廻車のあるものもある。
 Dozens of treasure towers from the Kamakura to Muromachi period are preserved in a shrine in the precincts of Akagi Shrine. Some have a wheel wheel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ この神社のある土地の下植木という地名は、植木に関係があるわけではなく、その由来は古代に遡るといいます。
その昔、この辺りには東山道の佐位の駅(うまや)があったので「えき」が訛って「うえき」となったのだそうです。
その下植木にある赤城神社に残る石造群に「秦」という名が刻まれていると、古い史料にあったので、わざわざ出かけてみました。
石造群は鍵の掛かった小屋に収納されていましたが、確認することができました。
立派な宝塔の寄進者として刻まれている秦氏の名は、伊勢崎に絹織物の技術を伝えた渡来人の存在を思わせます。
初詣に訪れる人々のなかで、石造群をパチパチ撮影するのは、かなり浮いていて恥ずかしかった…です(^_^;)
The place name Shimoueki on the land where this shrine is located is not related to planting, and its origin is said to date back to ancient times.
A long time ago, there was a station (Umaya) on the Tosan road around here, so it seems that "Eki" became "Ueki".
When the name "Hata" was engraved on the stone group remaining at Akagi Shrine in Shimoueki, it was in old historical materials, so I went out all the way.
The stone group was stored in a locked hut, but I was able to confirm it.
The name of Mr. Hata, engraved as a donor of a magnificent treasure tower, is reminiscent of the existence of a migrant who introduced the technique of silk fabrics to Isesaki.
Among the people who visited the shrine for the first time, it was quite embarrassing to shoot the stone group crackling ... (^_^;)
