★ ★ ★ ★ ★ このお城は、由良氏の家臣で大胡城代だった増田重政の居城であったと伝えられているそうです。
チョッと面白いと思ったのは「新土塚」という名前なのですが…
地元に残る言い伝えでは、新土肥前守という武将が城主であった時、二宮城主と争って敗れ、家臣ともども埋葬したことから「新土塚」と呼ばれるようになったとか。
いまは標柱が立っているだけですが、この場所で凄惨な戦があったと思うと…チョッと空気がヒヤリとするような…(^_^;)

The name I thought was interesting was "Shin Dotsuka" ...
According to the legend that remains in the local area, when a warlord named Mamoru Shintoi was a castle owner, he was defeated in battle with the lord of Ninomiya and was buried with both his vassals.
The pillar is now standing, but if you think there was a terrible battle at this place ... the air is stubborn ... (^_^;)
