★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wikipediaによると、『太平記』には挙兵に際して、1333年5月8日卯の刻（午前6時頃）に新田義貞はじめ新田一族が新田荘にある生品明神社に参集して決起する逸話が描かれている。
According to Wikipedia, in Taiheiki, when the soldiers were called up, Yoshisada Nitta and the Nitta family gathered at the Shinshinmei Shrine in Nittaso on May 8, 1333 (around 6:00 am). Anecdotes that set off are depicted.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 昭和５８年（１９８３年）、新田義貞公挙兵６５０年を記念して生品神社境内に設置されましたが、平成２２年(２０１０年)に、盗まれてしまったそうです。平成２４年（２０１２年）５月８日に再建され、除幕式が行われたとのことです。
In 1983 (1983), it was set up in the precincts of Ikujin Shrine to commemorate the 650 years of the errand of Yoshida Nitta, but it was said that it was stolen in 2010 (2010). It was rebuilt on May 8, 2012, and the unveiling ceremony was held.
