江戸時代中期に御嶽講が結成された際に創建したという。
境内は祠のみ鎮座している。
敷地内は施錠されており入れないが門扉に賽銭箱が取り付けられているので門前にて参拝をしましょう。

門扉は施錠されており、鳥居もくぐれません。
