★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 地域の基幹病院と隣接している為、墓地などが入院患者の目に触れない様になっていました。病院の改築に伴い北側病棟が撤去され綺麗な桜の樹が目立ちます。
弥勒寺入り口は商店街側に案内看板が出ています。
山門から続く石畳の参道、周囲には手入れされた花々が植えられています。
境内に入ると真っ先に目に飛び込んでくるのが『松？桜⁈』
ナント松の幹から桜の樹が寄生しています。
それも両方枯れずに。境内にはその他にも面白い物が在りますが、裏手は霊園です。静かに参拝してください。

At the entrance of Mirokuji Temple, there is a signboard on the shopping street side.
The cobblestone approach leading from the mountain gate is surrounded by well-maintained flowers.
When you enter the precincts, the first thing that comes to your eyes is "Pine? Cherry blossoms⁈"
Cherry trees are parasitic on the trunk of Nantes pine.
Both of them do not die. There are other interesting things in the precincts, but the back is a reien. Please worship quietly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not a particularly outstanding temple and not set up for tourism -- there was no staff or amulets etc. for sale either time I visited. However, it has a long grand approach lined with stone lanterns and various flowers as well as an interesting tree in the courtyard -- a weeping cherry somehow growing in the crown of a pine. Particularly nice in spring, worth a quick look if in the neighborhood.
