利用者がそこそこいるのだから自動改札機を設置した方が良いのでは？っと思います。
そこに人件費をかける必要はありません
 This station sometimes has station staff.

同じ三重県の四日市とは、隣接していません。
全線単線の鈴鹿線で、すれ違い設備が無い駅構造です。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 単線無人駅。近鉄名古屋線のワンマン電車はちょっと変わっている。湯の山線、鈴鹿線用の三両編成と鳥羽、志摩線用の二両編成に分かれ前者は運賃表示器がない。後者は急行の名古屋寄りに連結される事も多くラッシュ時の名古屋口で運転される準急はこのワンマン車で五両編成で運用されるものもある様だ。(2000系の初期に登場した新ビスタカーの古い台車をそのまま流用している２編成以外はワンマン対応になっており大阪線から転入した2430系も同様に対応している。ワンマン運転の運用を考えれば多数は名古屋線の運用に用いられて普通である。二両編成も又然りである。)

IC改札機があるだけできっぷは買えませんが、乗車証明書を取って電車に乗るスタイルです。
周囲は住宅地です、近くにコンビニがあります。
