金剛薩埵（こんごうさった）は、中期密教においては大日如来の教えを受けた菩薩で、密教の第二祖とされた。後期密教においては、法身普賢（普賢王如来）、持金剛と並んで本初仏（原初仏）へと昇格した。金剛（ダイヤモンド）のように堅固な菩提心を持つと称される。
茂庭氏の記録（定元）明暦元年（1655年）3月の条に「松山金谷村薩埵堂造営終る。別当山伏徳源院鏡須」とあり、古くからあった堂をこの時に再興し、万治2年（1659年）知行200文を寄進している。

Kongo Sasatsu was a bodhisattva who was taught by Dainichi Nyorai in the Middle Esoteric Buddhism and was the second ancestor of Esoteric Buddhism. In the late esoteric period, he was promoted to the First Buddha (original Buddha) alongside the Hoshin Fugen (Puken King Nyorai) and Mochi Kongo. It is said to have a solid bodhi mind like a diamond.
According to the record of Moteiwa (Sotogen) in March of the first year of the Meiji era (1655), the construction of Matsuyama Kanaya Village Satsudo Hall ended. It has revived and has donated 200 sentence to the public in 1659.
