及	及川吉章 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ こちらの駅からの松島観光は、ちょっと歩きますね。行きと返りの電車を変えたい時や、高城街中散策(オレンジ色の電柱たち)時には良いかもです。 Matsushima sightseeing from this station is a short walk. It may be good when you want to change the train going and returning, or when you are walking around Takashiro street (orange telephone poles).
中	中島游子 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 去看日本三大景色ー松島的話，松島海岸站比較近。這個松島站比較遠客人也比較少。但有特別的感覺，安靜有風情的。松島海岸站是仙石線、這個松島站是東北本線。不一樣的。這個東北本線比仙石線可以快到仙台站。我推薦先到松島海岸站看松島、吃東西、然後走15分左右到松島站、回來仙台站。（散歩散歩。) 松島を見るならこの東北本線松島駅より仙石線松島海岸駅の方が近い為、利用客は少なめ。一方で非常に風情のある駅で、それでいて新築で綺麗なのでゆっくり電車を待つ事ができました。きてよかったです。 The three most beautiful views in Japan-Matsushima-like story, near the Songdo coast station. If you look at Matsushima, Sengoku Line Matsushima Kaigan Station is closer than this Tohoku Main Line Matsushima Station, so the number of passengers is small. On the other hand, it was a very tasteful station, yet it was new and clean, so I was able to wait for the train slowly. It was nice to come.
h	hiro noga (nogahiro) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 東北本線で行く日本三景松島の最寄り駅。と言っても松島まで１５分ぐらい歩きます。仙台駅から松島の最寄り駅は仙石線の松島海岸ですが、東北本線で松島駅まで２５分ぐらいで、仙石線で40分くらいかかるのでたいして時間変わらないし仙石線の乗換が面倒くさいなら気分で乗り分けても良いかも。近くの高城町駅へは電車で行くより歩いたほうが早いです。快速湯けむり号も止まります。 The closest station to Matsushima, one of Japan's three most scenic spots on the Tohoku Main Line. Even so, I walk to Matsushima for about 15 minutes. The nearest station from Sendai Station to Matsushima is Matsushima Kaigan on the Senseki Line, but it takes about 25 minutes to reach Matsushima Station on the Tohoku Main Line and about 40 minutes on the Senseki Line, so it doesn't change much time. Maybe it's okay. It is faster to walk to the nearby Takagimachi station than to go by train. The rapid train Yukemuri also stops.
田	田中洋子 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 仙台方面2時台電車がなくってガッカリです。近くに時間潰しする観光的なモノもなくてしかたなく松島海岸駅を目指しました。 I'm disappointed that there is no train at 2 o'clock in the direction of Sendai. I headed for Matsushima Kaigan Station because there were no tourist attractions nearby to kill time.
旅	旅人KENTA on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ さすが日本三景の近くとあって駅舎がカッコいいです。松島に速く行くなら松島海岸駅の方が良いです。 As expected, the station building is cool because it is near the three most scenic spots in Japan. If you want to go to Matsushima faster, Matsushima Kaigan Station is better.

R	Roger Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A convenient station with covered bike parking (fee) but no elevators. Note, this station is on the Tohoku Line which is an inland route and won't take you to the Matsushimakaigan waterfront area.
A	Amit Gupta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small and beautiful station. Got a waiting room as well ! Quick info: Train from Sendai comes on platform 2 or 3 and you have to climb stairs with luggage as there is no elevator.
