山の中、坂道の途中、ミカン畑が廻りにあります。
アクセスの悪いのを差し引いても、池田満寿夫先生に興味のある方は、行く価値があると思います。
今は熱海市が管理しています。
私が行った時は、市の職員の女性が、丁寧に案内と説明をしてくれました。
一緒に行った私の両親も、感動してました。
あと、ここでしか買えない貴重なグッツも見逃せません。(笑)

力強い作風はとても素晴らしく見応えがありました。
係の方のはからいで工房も案内して頂きました。

時節柄、来館者はあまり多くないようですが、貴重な作品も展示されています。
状況によっては、隣接するアトリエもちょっと見せてもらえるかもしれません。亡くなられる直前まで作品の製作で過ごされていた息づかいが感じられます。
是非、多くの方に見ていただきたい施設です。
