m	mafija Tom on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful castle from outside. Inside looks like a normal building, has a museum and amusement place inside. Expect to soend about 2h in there. The view is absolutely magnificent. Free massage chairs and foot hot bath.

J	Jessica Ing on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1000 yen admission for adults. 1600 yen admission for castle and trick museum (beside the castle). Parking is 500 yen all day. It's a nice reconstruction of the castle and it's very interactive. You can play, do and see interesting things on all the floors. There is an 18 plus section to see illustrative drawings done in ukioye style. There is a riddle floor; if you can answer the riddles you get a constellation prize. There are free massage chairs and foot baths to use. In the basement there is an arcade room. The souvenir shop has nice omiyage. An interesting thing to do is to blow into the conch shell and try a battle cry.

M	Monica S on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to go if you want to enjoy the view of the whole Atami area. But the inside of the castle... well it’s kinda cool to go around and see the traditional castle of Japan embrace Tokyo lol I enjoyed the trick art museum a bit more which was right next door.

You can learn about ancient Japanese samurai and look at some interesting trick art and paintings. There is even a nice view overlooking the ocean while you dip your feet in their foot spa. It cost about a thousand yen to enter and is six floors of cool/historic/interesting stuff from samurai to 18+ old art.

It had several floors with different museum items, only one Flor of which was related to castles. What was particularly cool, though was the arcade in the basement that was included in the admission price and allowed for unlimited game play.

Wonderful view from the top floor, interesting history, additional free of charge entertaining B1 floor both for adult and kids. Finally we were able to watch the monkey show and have a lunch at the closest Japanese restaurant. Visited in May 2021 with family. Recommended!
