ラ	ラズベリープラムおでん on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 駿河湾を一望できる綺麗な景色と、巨大な観音さまを見学できます。拝観料は、300円。順路通りに進んで、30分から40分ほどかな。まさに圧巻！ You can see the beautiful scenery overlooking Suruga Bay and the huge Kannon. The admission fee is 300 yen. Proceed along the route, maybe 30 to 40 minutes. It's a masterpiece!
パ	パンダ・ザ・ジャイアント on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 拝観料は300円。中に入った途端に何か異様な胡散臭さを感じた。建立も昭和58年ですから新興宗教なのかもしれません。いわゆるお寺ではありません。たくさんの観音さまがありますが全部番号札がついていて分譲しているかのようでした。すべての仏像は近年の新しいものです。本堂の賽銭箱横に、ご主人？ご住職？がいましたけど何ひとつ挨拶もなく悩み事相談とか書かれてました。ここで悩み事など相談しないことです。しらんけど。お寺として見る価値はありません。入館券を見ても日本随一の博物館と書いてあります。 The admission fee is 300 yen. There are many Kannon-sama, but all of them have number tags and it seems as if they are for sale. All Buddha statues are new in recent years. Next to the money box in the main hall, is it your husband? Abbot? There was, but there was no greeting and it was written about trouble consultation. Don't talk about your worries here. I don't know. Not worth seeing as a temple. Even if you look at the admission ticket It is written as the best museum in Japan.

N	Neal Beaver on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A mystery. I don't think this place is actually open. It's semi-abandoned. I've been here twice, including when Google says it has opening hours. It's not. Both times I've pretty much snuck in. The reception is closed. There is no staff to ask. There's a car, a light or two on, but the place has an abandoned feeling. A blog or two has noted that someone has come out and been a bit rude, telling them the facility is closed. Today, there was a sign out that said "no tourists, only grave visitors" in front of the main gate, but I saw very few graves. All that said, it's one of my favorite places in Japan and I have traveled widely. The Kannon is astounding and the surrounding statues and atmosphere is amazing. It's a shame this place has fallen to ruin. It's hard to get to as well; 1,700 yen taxi ride from Usami Station. Be sure to have their number or you'll be walking back. Once you get up there, that's about the only two options. It's an hour trek back, downhill.
P	Pua on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impressive! Located in the city of Ito, Shizuoka Prefecture, the Usami Kannon (aka The Great Kannon of World Peace) is 164 feet tall and sits on a hill overlooking the city. You can see her from the beach. I admit, being in close proximity to something so big and it looking like she does, it was almost eerie. LOVED IT! While I didn't do an exact count, there looks to be over a 100 statues along the path leading to the Kannon, possibly protecting the Kannon?? You will also find here the Seven Lucky Gods/Seven Gods of Fortune. Definitely a memorable visit!
