C	Caleigh Rutledge on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My boyfriend and I visited MARU yesterday evening for dinner. What we found is a lovely, unassuming gem in the heart of Korea town in Osaka. While the owner and I are both bilingual, none of those 4 languages happened to overlap. So we got by with google translate ("your recommendation"), some pointing, and trust. The owner brought us 3 delicious items, one a deep fried onion/egg dish, a mushroom/noodle plate, and lastly a hearty chicken and rice soup. Not one of these items was over $15 (usd) and all of them were amazing. The ingredients are modest but flavours are elevated and make the composed dishes absolutely delicious. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great meal in Osaka.
