駐車場も広いです。連休初日に行きましたが、満車ではなかったです。ただ、車は頻繁に出入りしています。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ お値段4000円とオートキャンプ場にしては普通なのに、全サイトに流し台とかまどと木製のテーブルと椅子がついています。
550円支払えば電源の使用も可能。
隣サイトとはっきり境界はないので、気になる方はタープ等のご準備を。
灰も、シンク下にあるバケツに入れるだけで処理してくれます。
ゴミも可燃不燃カン・ビンペットボトルと処理してくれます。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 万葉時代の歌人柿本人麻呂の句碑が多く設営されている公園。散歩コースは非常に広く、万葉公園太陽の広場には見晴らしの良い通りにあたり一面に広がった芝生。蟠竜湖には錦鯉や水鳥が生息し、ボートを漕いで遊ぶ事もできる。そしてまた、公園内にはやすらぎの家などの喫茶・軽食店もあり、自然に溢れた園内を満喫できることことうけ。益田市縁の万葉詩人、柿本人麻呂の世界観に浸りつつ、一つ観光してみるのもまた善しです。そしてまた、隣接する高津柿本神社は歌聖柿本人麻呂を祀る神社であり、こちらも併せて観光してみるといいかもしれません

とにかく広大で幾つものゾーンに別れています。
その為、駐車場も分散しています。
蟠竜湖、広大な芝生広場、柿本人麿神社、売店、休憩所、遊具場、オートキャンプ場、遊歩道等々。
老若男女が集い、一日では足りない位です。
アクセスも良く、益田駅からでも車で15分程度で行けます。
特に遊具は綺麗で新しい物も多く、子供だけで無く高齢者向けの健康器具も混在しています。
公園の管理会社がしっかりしているのでしょうね。
とにかく綺麗で清潔に管理されています。
正面から入場すると管理センターが有るので、こちらでパンフレットを貰うか、ネット検索して自分がどう過ごしたいのか、場所を事前に決めるのが良いかと思います。

スタートは下り、ゴールは上りとなります。
公園としてはとても良いですが、マラソンのコースとしてはこのアップダウンはけっこうキツイです。
It is the start and finish course of the Hagi-Iwami Airport Marathon.
The start is down and the goal is up.
It's very good as a park, but this ups and downs are pretty tough for a marathon course.
