2020年11月追記
・道路は補修され通行できるようになりました。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 令和元年(2019年)の台風15号と房総豪雨による水害で、里見方面からアプローチする道路が随所で崩壊し使えなくなってしまいました。滝の直ぐ側の道路は路肩の崩壊が日を追うごとに進んでいる状況で、滝壺に降りることもままならない状態です。とても残念です。

路面崩壊していた道路の復旧工事が終わり、里見方面から滝の脇を抜けて万田野まで通行できるようになりました！すばらしい！！
復旧工事の関係者の皆様に感謝です！！！
Due to flood damage caused by typhoon No. 15 and heavy rain in Boso in the first year of Reiwa (2019), roads approaching from the direction of Satomi collapsed everywhere and became unusable. The road on the immediate side of the waterfall is in a state where the shoulders are collapsing day by day, and it is difficult to get down to the basin. It is very disappointing.

The restoration work of the road that had collapsed has been completed, and it is now possible to pass from the direction of Satomi through the side of the waterfall to Mandano! great! !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 地面を割いて眼下に突然に滝が現れる不思議な地形。大地の割れ目ですね。滝を対岸の斜め上から見る形になりますのでとても不思議。
水量は少ないものの自然の力強さ、不思議さを感じます。付近には２０１９年の台風の爪痕がのこり、整備途上ですけどよくぞ復活してくれました。
里見駅のわき道から車で１０分程度。未舗装のデコボコ道の上、ダンプが頻繁に通ります。車は泥でかなり汚れます。また、滝の近くは狭いので車を止めておけません。道の崩落の危険も依然あり、滝つぼ方面には降りられない状況です。
A mysterious terrain where a waterfall suddenly appears below you when you break the ground. It's a crack in the earth. It is very strange because you can see the waterfall from diagonally above the opposite bank.
Although the amount of water is small, I feel the strength and mystery of nature. The scars of the 2019 typhoon remained in the vicinity, and although it is still under maintenance, it has been revived well.
About 10 minutes by car from the side road of Satomi Station. Dump trucks frequently pass on unpaved bumpy roads. The car gets quite dirty with mud. Also, the area near the waterfall is so small that you can't park your car. There is still a danger of the road collapsing, and we cannot get off in the direction of the waterfall basin.
