The set was large and varied, we went for the 2000 yen set which includes a whole trout (eat the whole thing, even the head, go on), soup, pickles, a mushroomy soba and some other bits and bobs. It’s proper trad Japanese stuff, and if you’re into that you won’t be disappointed. It’s the sort of thing you’d wake up to in a ryokan - a bunch of different flavors all dropped onto a tray which somehow all end up complementing each other. We were lucky enough to get a table next to an open window overlooking the small garden, which took things up a notch too. Service was fast and friendly and we left satisfied.
