Expensive but excellent bread. Staff not great. Take away only, no eat in space. Excellent bakery! Bit pricey but worth it. However, service is not great. Ladies at the till are not that friendly or helpful. They don't seem happy or they don't like young kids much? Tiny store so if you enter with buggy you will block the aisle. Door is quite heavy and there is a ramp but it's hard to get in by yourself. Haven't tried the cakes but the bread is superb.

I love the French-style bakeries in Japan, and this is by far the best one I've been to. It was a huge problem to just pick a few because they all looked amazing. Favorites were Thé Orange (orange tea bread) and poire noix bleu (bread topped with pear, nuts, and blue cheese). The flavor contrasts and textures of that last one were just perfect.

Really nice bakery and awesome selections, they had great savory and sweet options and everything I tried tasted very fresh and delicious. I wish they had a space that you could dine-in, so be warned it's only take away, but that being said it was very good and I would recommend it for something to eat when you're on the go or if you want foods to take home. Great morning selections as well!

I am from the french countriside, and this is exactly the type of boulangerie I have been looking for while in Tokyo. I wish that they would make their pain au levain more accessible (more variety, and available in miche, demi-miche, batard, etc..) and available earlier (I stopped to buy bread for breakfast and it was not ready yet) but otherwise the taste is spot on. The staff understood what they were talking about, and despite not being able to buy the pain au levain that I wanted (apparently buying bread for breakfast is not a thing here) they were very kind, and able to re-route me to an alternative option without trouble. What I was impressed with is that they did not reroute me to the standard Japanese go-to friand a base de pate feuilletee sucree (sweet layered dough super common here), but to a seigle alternative that was quite appropriate for proper cheese and cured meat (saucisson). The most authentic, and all around best boulangerie in Tokyo!

Hatts off to one of the best bakery. It opens around 8 o clock. Better buy within 1 or 2 hours when the items comes from oven. They have many other items like salad, honey etc. The aroma when you pass by the shop enough to get you inside.

I love the jambon-beurre here. Its the best I feel like Im in Paris. A croissant with salmon and avocado sandwich is also nice. Fougasse, Canelé,and more.. I would go there everyday if this boulangerie is in the neighborhood.
