Best Indian restaurant in japan

C	Chelsea McMeen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to this place for a set lunch with my husband yesterday. I had the chicken curry set while he had the Thali set which included a spinach prawn curry and a butter chicken curry with yogurt and mango dessert. The chicken curry was disappointing, but the Thali set lunch was delicious. I ended up eating more of my husband's lunch than mine. The staff were also accommodating of my baby's stroller at our table.

So there are two kind of Indian restaurants in Japan, one which is has more Japanese customers, the other which has more Indian customers. This restaurant is the one with more Japanese customers. The menu was in Japanese so it might be a problem for some who cannot read Katakana. The food and curry was also good. The curry was mild so good option for those who do not like a spicy curry.
S	Samyak Jain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst Indian restaurant experience ever in Japan. Do not ever order butter paneer. It is simply a lots of melted butter and sweet gravy with stoned paneer. The owner doesn't even know how to talk, he just shouts if you want to ask something. Also, mutter paneer is too spicy. Nor recommended..!!

Can't imagine why Google would have deleted the review. The directions were also unusually unhelpful. Quite a large place, but I can't see all the seats. Guessing maybe 40. Atmosphere has a weird mix, with some Chinese stuff and some Indian stuff, Mediterranean features. I think the staff is probably Nepali. Doesn't seem to have Wi-Fi, but friendly and unusually good English, with fast service. Covid-19 precautions about average. Unusually large serving of curry with generous chicken, and an interesting flavored naan, though quite unevenly cooked. Maybe the oven is too hot? Couldn't add spice to the curry, so overall I'm going to call it a low four stars.
T	The Ulul Albab on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is strategic, very near to Meguro station, only take 1 minute. The interior design was impressive. I love its Curry with nan. The chicken biryani was also delicious. The salad was great, fresh, naturally sweet and crunchy. It's happy to hear they serve Halal menu. I recommend this place as one of best choice near Meguro station, especially for moslem travellers ??
