The deputy store manager responded and we made a lot of selfishness, but he suggested a house that suits his wishes! My fiancee and I were looking for an apartment and found ourselves struggling to say the least. Due to not being married, we weren't taken seriously and our assigned agent didn't help us as he should. We applied for a very pretty apartment, but after two weeks apparently didn't pass screening. When calling back and forth, trying to understand the reason for not passing, we weren't given one. Without any information whatsoever, we had to accept the fact we didn't pass. A few months later, we applied for the exact same apartment ourselves and you guessed it... We passed. I'm not sure why we weren't helped properly, but I can guess it's because both my fiancee and I are foreigners. I would appreciate it if you could help anyone that's looking for an apartment, not just rich salarymen that earn half a million yen a month. Very unfortunate how both my fiancee and I came to Japan many years ago and learned Japanese, but are still being treated differently. I'm sure the person in charge is living in a nice apartment himself, while we were struggling to find something without being helped whatsoever. Hope to so improvements from your side. Kind regards
