★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 找到這間店是很神奇的過程。朋友從舊金山來，希望能夠買和紙（Washi 或Wagami）來做書套。但是她只知道在美國稱之作Marble paper，所以很難用對關鍵字找到京都相關的店。幸運的是，我們在清水寺的某間紀念品店，找到類似的包裝紙，老闆才跟我們說日文叫做Washi，後來透過網路搜尋，才找到這間距離最近清水寺的和紙店。
但是到了這裡，發現店門沒開，以為是打烊，本來要放棄，後來詢問路人，他才按照玻璃上貼的圖示告訴我們要使用門口電話打內線15，透過他的協助（日文溝通），店員就來開門讓我們入內參觀選購。
店員的服務態度很好，也會使用英語溝通跟介紹。我們挑了很多漂亮的和紙，總算了卻朋友的心願。我也挑了一些紙作的金屏風當禮物。兩個都不會說日文的人，在善心的日本人協助下，認識了日本和紙文化，也找到有趣的店。
 Finding this store is a magical process. My friend is from San Francisco, hoping to buy Japanese paper (Washi or Wagami) to make a book cover. However, she only knows that it is called Marble paper in the United States, so it is difficult to find Kyoto-related stores with the right keywords. Fortunately, we found a similar wrapping paper at a souvenir shop in Kiyomizu Temple. The boss told us that Japanese is called Washi. Later, we searched the Internet to find this wagashi shop closest to Kiyomizu Temple.
But when I got here, I found that the shop door was n’t open. I thought it was a snooze. I had to give up. Later, I asked a passerby, and he told us to use the door phone to call extension 15 according to the icon on the glass. Through his assistance (Japanese communication), The clerk came to open the door for us to visit and buy.
The clerk's service attitude is very good, and they will communicate and introduce in English. We picked a lot of beautiful Japanese paper, but finally the wishes of our friends. I also picked some gold screens made of paper as gifts. Two people who do not speak Japanese, with the help of kind Japanese, met Japanese Japanese paper culture and found interesting shops.
